The photo above was from a morning I will never forget. I was 3,000 metres above sea level at Gornergrat, Switzerland to photograph the mighty Matterhorn. It was a beautiful still morning without another soul to be seen. To witness the sunlight kiss the top of the Matterhorn was an "almost" spiritual experience.
I had to wait 5 very frustrating days in my van for the cloud cover to clear. Constantly checking the weather it finally looked like I may have a window of opportunity. After 5 days of waiting it was all made very worthwhile.
Since 2009 I have been running tours in Iceland which is just the most amazing and diverse country for photographers. It is a privilege to guide people around such a stunning photographer's paradise.
I fell in love with Iceland and it's people immediately and am so thankful to have travelled there over 70 times.
One of my favourite places to shoot and run workshops is the Jurassic coast in Dorset, England. I run many workshops there. If you would like to join me please use the contact page. Whether it's for the local knowledge, learning how to get the best from your DSLR or learning how to use filters correctly. A full set of NiSi filters will be available for you to try.
